DAYTONA, Fla. -- Husky alum Anya Alvarez shot a third round 69 in the LPGA Qualifying Tournament on Friday to move up the leaderboard and within range of earning a spot on either the LPGA Tour of the Symetra Tour for 2013.

Alvarez, who completed her Husky eligibility in 2010, is tied for 41st at 3-over 219 after 54-holes of action. She had seven birdies during her round on the par-72 Champions Course.

Golfers will play 90 holes over five days at LPGA International, Legends & Champions course. The top 20 players at the conclusion of the event will earn Priority in Category 12. Players finishing in the 21st-45th spots will earn Priority in Category 17.

Moriya Jutanugarn maintains a big lead over the field after shooting 69. She is 13-under 203 for the tournament and has a six shot lead.
