Washington in Seventh Place at Edean Ihlanfeldt Invitational

Redmond, WA - Defending champion USC continues to hold a commanding lead after 36 holes of play at the Edean Ihlanfeldt Invitational at Sahalee Country Club. The Trojans posted a second-round score of 307 to bring their two-day total to 599. Arizona State moved into second place with a second-round score of 294 for a two-day total of 605. The Sun Devils were the only team to break 300 during Tuesday's action. USC held a 12-stroke lead after the first round of play.

Washington fell from third to seventh place after recording a second-round score of 311. The Huskies, at 616, are six strokes behind fifth-place Stanford.

Washington's Kellie Kamimura and Louise Friberg are tied for 14th place at eight-over 152. Stanford's Stephanie Keever continues to lead the tournament after shooting even-par 72 on Tuesday. Keever heads into the Wednesday's final round of play at 142, two-under par. USC's Candie Kung and Tulsa's Stacy Prammanasudh are tied for second place with even-par scores of 144.

Wednesday's final round of play begins at 8 a.m. at Sahalee. Washington is paired in the first group of tee times.
