SEATTLE -- The Husky women's golf team hosts its lone event of the year starting this Monday when a total of 12 teams start teeing off at 9:00 a.m. at Sahalee Country Club for the Edean Ihlanfeldt Invitational.

In the 30th installment of the Huskies' annual tournament, Washington will be joined by in state teams Washington State and Gonzaga, plus BYU, California, Colorado, UNLV, Idaho, Nebraska, Oregon, Oregon State and San Jose State. The teams and three Husky individual competitors will play 54 holes over three days at the par-72, 6,003-yard course located in Sammamish, Wash.

California are the defending champions, winning last year's tournament that was played at Tacoma Country and Golf Club. Sahalee CC played host to the 2010 U.S. Senior Open forcing a change in venues.

Washington is fresh off its first team title since 2005 after winning the season-opening Cougar Cup back on Sept. 20. Husky Head Coach Mary Lou Mulflur will use the same five person lineup from that tournament. Soo Bin Kim will start in the No. 1 spot, followed by Cyd Okino, Sadena Parks, Kelli Bowers and Jennifer Yang.

Jennifer Liedes, Darcie Richmond and Brittany Tallman will compete as individuals in the home tournament.

Washington will be paired with Colorado and UNLV in Monday's first round and tee off at 9:00 a.m. on the No. 1 hole.

Tee times will start at 9:00 a.m. on Monday, 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday and 8:00 a.m. on Wednesday. Pairing for Tuesday and Wednesday will be determined by the previous day's standings.

Go Huskies!
