SEATTLE - Freshman golfer Charlotte Thomas has been named the GoHuskies.com Student-Athlete of the Week for the week of Sept. 17-23. The England native who lists Singapore as her hometown, shot a 5-under 211 in the 54-hole Oregon State Invitational last week to win the tournament. She led the Huskies to first-place finish with an 11-under 853 to win the tournament by 25 strokes. Thomas shot a 69 in the final round to lock up the victory. All five Huskies finished in the top 20. Other nominees include: Abdul Aman (men's soccer), Kari Davidson (women's soccer), Cheng-Tsung Pan (men's golf) and Kaleigh Nelson (volleyball). 2012-13 GoHuskies.com Student-Athlete of the Week: |
