POWELL, Ohio - Washington teammates Kelli Bowers and Jennifer Yang combined to shoot 6-over 150 in the final round of the Pure Silk Women's Team Championship on Thursday to end up 11th out of 54 teams. Both Husky golfers shot 3-over 75 at Wedgewood Golf & Country Club in Powell, Ohio during the team stroke play portion of the 54-hole tour. Bowers had three birdies and six bogeys during her round on Thursday and Yang had two birdies and five bogeys. Erica Popson and A.J. Newell of Tennessee ended up with the victory. They ended up with a three-day score of 286 for the one-stroke win. |
