VICTORIA, B.C. - Monica Huang, who spent last year as a redshirt freshman at Washington, advanced to the Round of 16 at the Pacific Northwest Women's Amateur Championship in Victoria, B.C. Huang dropped a 2 and 1 decision to Amanda Baker, just missing advancing to the quarterfinals on the Valley Course at Bear Mountain Golf Resort. Huang advanced to the round of 16 after receiving a first round bye. Huang shot 79-79 in stroke play to tie for ninth at +16. |
