Alvarez And U.S. Open Field Suspended Again

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. - Due to weather conditions at the 66th U.S. Women's Open on Thursday, former Husky Anya Alvarez finished the final five holes of her first round play on Friday but due to darkness was unable to begin round two. Alvarez started on the 14th hole in the morning, picking up a bogey on the 16th hole and paring the other four holes, ending her first round with a +2, 73. She is currently T-18th with the cut projected at +9. She will tee off at 7:17 a.m. PT on Saturday on the 10th tee for her second round.
