U.S. Women's Open Leaderboard

OAKMONT, Pa. -- UW alum Paige Mackenzie shot a first round 3-over 74 and is tied for 41st at the LPGA's U.S. Women's Open being played at Oakmont Country Club outside of Pittsburgh, Pa.

Only five players registered under-par rounds on Thursday, with Brittany Lang holding sole possession of the lead at 2-under.

Mackenzie held her own on the very difficult links-style course. She had four bogeys and one birdie during her round at the Par-71 track.

Fellow Husky Louise Friberg did not fare as well on Thursday, shooting a 12-over 83. She is tied for 138th out of 156 competitors.
