KOHLER, Wis. -- Paige Mackenzie finished the first round of the LPGA U.S. Open at 3-over 75 and sits in 55th at Blackwolf Run in Kohler, Wis. The former Husky All-American's round consisted of a birdie and a pair of double bogeys. She is six shots off the lead held by a trio of Americans: Christie Kerr, Brittany Lincicome and Lizette Salas. Anya Alvarez is the only other Husky grad in the LPGA major event. She shot 10-over 82 and is 146th entering Friday's second round. |
