Women's Golfers Improve at Pac-10s

Complete Round Two Results

STANFORD, Calif. - Elisha Au and Paola Bellotti each carded 73 in the second round of the Pac-10 Championships to advance the Huskies into sixth place at the Pac-10 Championships. Washington posted 301 in the second of three rounds at Stanford Golf Course, bringing its two round total to 610.

Stanford maintained its 14-stroke lead on Arizona and USC by registering a 289 in the second round bringing its total to 580 for the tournament. Arizona State is fourth with 597. Fifth-place UCLA leads Washington by seven strokes.

Elisha Au holds the Washingtons top-spot on the leaderboard in 12th place with a 149. Au bettered her opening-round 76 by three on Saturday to finish with 149 after 36 holes. Kelli Kamimura slipped into a tie for 16th after a 77 Saturday coming in with 151 for the tournament. Washingtons got its biggest boost from senior Paola Bellottti, who shaved seven strokes off her first round total with a 73 on Saturday. Jennifer Stapleton rounded out Washingtons scoring with a 78.

Stanfords Julie Dunn leads all individuals with a 3-under 141, a stroke better than Arizona States Grace Park. Leila Chartrand is third at one-under.

The final round of the Pac-10 Championship tees off at 8:30 a.m. Sunday at Stanford Golf Course.
