Husky Women Fall to Eighth at ASU Invite
April 8, 2000 TEMPE, Ariz. -The Washington women's golf team dropped one spot to eighth after combining for a score of 302 in the second round of the ASU Invitational. Host Arizona State is tied with in-state rival Arizona at first, both teams with a two-round total of 585. New Mexico is in third, one stroke back from the lead at 586. Arizona's Jenna Daniels is leading the individual field with a 5-under score of 130. Miriam Nagl of Arizona State is next in line for the title with a two-day total of 142. Three Huskies finished the day in 16th place. Sophomore Kelli Kamimura, junior Elisha Au, and freshman Louise Friberg all finished round two with a total of 148. The competition will be decided Sunday morning.
