April 7, 2001 Tempe, AZ - Washington junior women's golfer Kelli Kamimura shot a second-round 71 to move into second place after 36 holes of play at the PING/Arizona State Invitational at the Sun Devils' Karsten Golf Course. Kamimura enters Sunday's final round of play with a two-day even-par score of 144. Arizona's Loren Ochoa, the nation's top-ranked player, leads the tournament at 1-under par 143. The Huskies fell from 12th to 14th place in the team competition despite improving on their score by three stroke and shooting 308. The Huskies' two-day total stands at 619. Arizona carded a tournament-best round of 293 to move into first place with a score of 597. Arizona State is in second place with a score of 600. Husky freshman Lindsay Morgan shot 76 for the second consecutive day to be in a six-way tie for 27th place with a score of 152. Louise Friberg shot 80 for a two-day total of 161. Michelle Grafos and Elisha Au both shot 81 on Saturday. Grafos is 63rd at 162 while au is 78th at 164. Bianca Clark, competing as an individual, is in 58th place with a score of 159. The final round of play will begin at 7:30 a.m. on Sunday at the par-72, 6,101-yard Karsten Golf Course.
