The Huskies hold a 10-stroke lead over second-place San Diego State. Kamimura won the event in 1999, shooting 142 (67, 75). Washington freshman Lindsay Morgan is three stroke behind Kamimura after shooting a 72 on the first day of play. Morgan's round was her best as a collegiate. Co-host California (310) is in third place followed by co-host San Francisco (323) and Weber State (329) on the Arnold Palmer Signature 5,850 yard par 72 course. The final round of the tournament begins with an 8:30 shotgun start on Tuesday.
