Freshmen Lead Women's Golfers at ASU Invite

TEMPE, Ariz. -- The Washington women's golf team finished the first of three rounds at the Arizona State Invitational in a tie for tenth place after carding a 311 on on the 6,100-yard Karsten Golf Course on Friday. Freshmen Elisha Au and Julia Smith top the UW leaderboard with 76 after the first 18-holes of play. San Joses State leads the tournament after carding a one-over-par 289. Stanford's Hilary Homeyer is the individual leader at two-under with two rounds to go. |
