The men's and women's varsity eight rowed to their seventh straight Windermere Cup victories in the best weather and biggest crowd Opening Day has seen in years.
The Washington novice eight boat took first in a wire-to-wire finish in the Women's Collegiate Novice Grand Final on the second day of the San Diego Crew Classic on Mission Bay. The Huskies raced in a total of four grand finals on Sunday, earning two third-place finishes by the 2V8 and V4, and a fifith-place finish by the varsity eight.
