With a race forced to be rescheduled to Friday the Huskies still manage to race well.
The Washington novice eight boat took first in a wire-to-wire finish in the Women's Collegiate Novice Grand Final on the second day of the San Diego Crew Classic on Mission Bay. The Huskies raced in a total of four grand finals on Sunday, earning two third-place finishes by the 2V8 and V4, and a fifith-place finish by the varsity eight.

Competed in the freshman shell in the Seattle Time's Women's Eight at the Class Day Regatta. Also rowed in the San Diego Crew Classic, WSU and Cal Dual, Windermere Cup Regatta, and PAC-12's in the Freshman Eight.
Personal:Daughter of Laurie and Gary Briggs. Younger sister of Jason, graduate of Princeton University, and Austin, graduate of Arizona State University. Her father also graduated from the University of Washington. Biggest role model is her mother, as she aspires to possess the strong characteristic that her mother has shown throughout her life.
