June 26, 2006 Getting ready for summer basketball camp on June 26th to the 30th and August 7th to the 11th is something I really look forward to as it is a chance to share the game I love with some of the young girls in our community. Our current and former players who participate as coaches really serve a dual purpose as role models and coaches. Having our alumni come back and coach is also a wonderful time to get caught up with them and hear news on their families. It is interesting to look back over the last several summers and realize that many of our current University of Washington players were former basketball campers for at least one summer. (Erica Schelly, Stefanie Clark and Kristen O'Neill to name a few). It's going to be a lot of fun in the Bank of America Arena at Hec-Ed! June We encourage your comments and feedback.
