Megan Franza Named To Preseason Pac-10 All-Conference Team
Nov. 2, 2000 WALNUT CREEK, Calif. - Washington senior Megan Franza has been named to the preseason Pac-10 All-Conference women's basketball team. Franza, who finished fourth in the conference in scoring last season, with 17.2 points per game, was one of three returning All-Pac-10 players along with Oregon State's Felicia Ragland and Angelina Wolvert of Oregon. Washington was picked to finish seventh in conference by media members who cover Pac-10 women's basketball. The Huskies finished the 1999-00 season with an 8-22 record, 4-14 in the Pac-10, ninth place in the conference. Stanford was picked as the conference favorite for the 2000-01 season, with 16 first-place votes.
