Four Husky Women's Basketball Games To Be Televised Nationally on FSN

WALNUT CREEK, CALIF. -- Four Washington women's basketball games will be televised nationally on FSN during the 2008-09 season as a part of the Pac-10's television package.

Three home games will be televised including the Huskies' Pac-10 opener with Washington State on Sat., Jan. 3, at 1 p.m. Additional home telecasts include Washington's meeting with Arizona State on Sat., Jan. 31, at 12 p.m. and the Husky contest with Stanford on Sunday, Feb. 8, at 12:30 p.m.

Washington's road contest at California will also be televised. The game will be played Sun., Jan. 11, at 12:30 p.m. at Haas Pavilion in Berkeley, Calif. Additional local telecasts for the Huskies will be announced at a later date.

Washington tips-off the season with a pair of exhibitions at Bank of America Arena, Tues., Nov. 4, at 7 p.m. versus Love & Basketball, and Mon., Nov. 10, at 7 p.m. with Corban College. The Huskies will play four of their first five games of the season on their home floor, beginning with their official opener versus Gonzaga, Sun., Nov. 16, at 2 p.m.
