SEATTLE - The Washington women's basketball team will be featured at least twice on television during the upcoming season, along with an option for a third "wild-card" scenario and potential for more with the Pac-10 Tournament.

Highlighting the television slate is the basketball version of the Apple Cup that will mark the Huskies' national television debut for the 2010-11 season on Jan. 30, when Washington State travels over the Cascades for a noon tip at Hec-Ed Pavilion on Fox Sports Net. Washington was 2-0 against their rivals from across the state last season, including a 70-54 victory at home. Later, the Huskies will close out their regular season with another nationally televised game on FSN against the Trojans at the Galen Center in Los Angeles on March 6 at 12:30 p.m. (PST).

The Huskies also have a pair of date changes to the original schedule, which were necessitated by television coverage. The final non-conference road series in Los Angeles was flip-flopped, and the Huskies will now play UCLA first before heading across town to face USC, which was moved to March 6 from its original March 5 date.

Additionally, the Huskies have the option to have their game at Washington State picked up on FSN, which is currently a "wild-card" option. That means the network and the Pac-10 will make a choice between five games two weeks before the Huskies' Feb. 26 date in Pullman.

The Huskies will also have an additional pair of television opportunities during the Pac-10 Tournament. Should UW reach the semifinal rounds and the championship game on March 11 and 12, those dates would be broadcast nationally on Fox Sports Net. The semifinals of the Pac-10 Tournament are slated for 12 p.m. and 2:30 p.m. starts at the Galen Center in Los Angeles. The championship game will be played at 11:30 a.m. at the Staples Center, the home of the NBA's Los Angeles Lakers.

Locally, the television games can be seen on FSN NW.
