Huskies Have Plenty Of Positive To Take Away From Stanford SEATTLE - The 2011 Washington women's basketball team wants to remind fans that they will hold their annual season-remembering banquet on Feb. 20 at 6 p.m. at Maggiano's in Bellevue's Lincoln Square. Tickets are still available for the event, with table reservations starting at $60 a person, or $480 for a group of eight. Fourth-year coach Tia Jackson will be on-hand to honor the program's lone senior, Sarah Morton, and distribute awards for Team MVP, Defensive Player of the Year, Most Improved Player, Tyee Sports Council Community Service, 101 Club Scholar-Athlete and the Kayla Burt Most Inspirational Player Award. There will also be awards given for statistical achievements, such as the Lion's Club Assist Award. Fans can buy tickets online securely at the Tyee Club website. |
