CORVALLIS, Ore. (AP) - Malinda Lynch scored a career-best 20 points and added 12 rebounds for Washington on Sunday to lead the Huskies to a 72-67 Pacific-10 Conference victory over Oregon State.

The Huskies (8-6, 4-1 Pac-10) pulled away from a 60-60 tie in the final six minutes for the win. Oregon State (10-5, 2-4) had led for most of the second half before Washington's closing spurt.

The Huskies took the lead for good, 62-60, on an Amber Hall basket just before the shot clock expired with 4:55 remaining. Hall added a free throw and Lynch added a 3-pointer for a 65-60 lead, completing an 8-0 run that erased a 60-57 deficit.

Oregon State got within 70-67 with nine seconds to play. But Hall twice made one of two free throws in the final eight seconds to clinch the victory.

Hall added 19 points, Megan Franza 16 points and Jamie Redd 12 points for Washington. Redd also had five steals and five assists, but was only 5-for-15 from the field.

Ericka Brosterhous and Reda Kakeranaite led the Beavers with 14 points and seven rebounds apiece. Kakeranaite also had six assists, and Felicia Ragland added 13 points.

Go Huskies!
