FRESHMAN YEAR (2003-04) -- Walkon who joined the team just prior to the start of the season...originally came to Washington on a track scholarship...shared Most Improved Player honors with Jill Bell and Maggie O'Hara...appeared in 20 games off the bench...made Husky debut at Arizona State, scoring seven points in nine minutes on the floor...had season-high 11 points vs. WSU...also set season-high with five FG made...reached double figures in scoring twice...was 3-for-3 from the line vs. Oregon (1/15)...career-high four rebounds at Oregon State (2/12)...equaled career-high in assists (two) and and had one steal in Pac-10 semifinal game vs. Arizona...in track, competed outdoors in the 100-meters, 200-meters and both sprint relays...ran in three events at the Pac-10 Championships...placed 18th in the prelim heat of the 200m, before leading the team's 4x100m and 4x400m relay squads to sixth-and eighth-place finishes, respectively...clocked a wind-aided season-best 100m time of 12.29 seconds at the Pepsi Invite...fastest 200m time was a 25.06 at the Ken Shannon Invite.
