Strasberg Defeated In Semi-Finals Of Bulldog Classic.

FRESNO, CA -- Washington's Ari Strasberg, a No. 6 seed, was defeated in the semi-finals of the Wathen/Hancock Bulldog Classic by No. 2 seed David Mullins of Fresno State, 6-2, 6-4. Mullins would go on to win the championship, defeating Oded Teig of Oregon 6-1, 1-0, retired.

Strasberg also competed in doubles with Freshman Michael Rubin. They advanced to the quarter-finals before being defeated by the duo of Livesayer/Bruggeman from Santa Clara University, 8-3.

Sophomore Matt Hanlin and Senior Jeremy Berman are scheduled to compete in the All-American Championships held in Atlanta, Georgia beginning Saturday, October 7th and concluding Sunday, October 15th. Other members of the men's tennis team will compete in the ITA Regional Championships in late October, held in Berkeley, California.
