SEATTLE –Kyle McMorrow from the men’s tennis team has been named the GoHuskies.com Student-Athlete of the Week for the week of Jan. 14-20. The senior from Thousand Oaks, Calif., helped the No. 25 Huskies upset No. 17 Tulsa and upset No. 34 Japie De Klerk at No. 1 singles, 7-6, 6-0. He won his 80th career match as a Husky on Jan. 19 vs. No. 23 Texas picking up the singles win over Soren Hess-Olesen, 2-6, 7-6, 6-4. Other nominees include: Lauren Rogers (gymnastics), Scott Suggs (men’s basketball), Aminah Williams (women’s basketball) and Grace Ysidora (women’s tennis).
