Huskies Dominate Inaugural Husky Fall Challenge

Seattle, WA -- Washington's men's tennis team claimed six of eight singles flights and all four doubles flight championships earlier today to wrap up the three-day Husky Fall Challenge held in the Husky Fall Challenge. Minnesota's Jon Svensson and Martin Michalowski won Flights 3 and 4, respectively.
Sophomore Robert Kendrick, ranked 21st in the nation, captured Flight 1 and improved his record to 7-2 on the year. Fellow sophomore Andy Posavac won Flight 2 with a 3-0 record this weekend to up his record to a team best 10-2. Huskies Jeremy Berman and Chuck Tille shared the Flight 5 championship while Nick Quatrochi and Jeff Eicher won the Flight 7 and 8 crowns.
Kendrick teamed up with Jeremy Berman to claim the Flight 1 doubles championship, posting a 3-0 record this weekend. Winning Flight 2 was Christoph Kull-Nick Quatrochi, Andy Posavac-Dillon Ruby won Flight 3 and Marius Lunde-Jeff Eicher shared the Flight 4 crown with Oregon's Miguel Arriaga-Alex Christy.
Washington next opens the spring season hosting Portland, Jan. 15 in the Nordstrom Tennis Center.
