Men's Tennis Blanks Oregon

EUGENE, Ore. - Washington's 29th-ranked men's tennis team (14-6, 3-4 Pac-10) shut out Oregon for the second time this season, 7-0, to close out its regular season. The Huskies hold a 47-1 edge in the all-time series with the Ducks with the only defeat occurring April 10, 1976 with a 5-4 loss. The Ducks drop to 11-12 and 0-7 in conference play.

The Huskies swept all six singles matches and won two of three doubles matches. Freshman Robert Kendrick, ranked 66th, improved his record to 25-8 and junior Eric Drew, ranked 86th, raised his record to 17-8.

The Huskies begin post-season play as they travel to Ojai, Calif. to participate in the Pac-10 Championships beginning Thursday, April 23 running through Sunday, April 26.
