Men's Tennis Team Downs Montana, 7-0

SEATTLE - The Husky men's tennis team, ranked 15th in the nation, recorded its second 7-0 win in as many days by stopping Montana at the Nordstrom Tennis Center on the UW campus. Washington dropped just two sets in singles after winning two of the three doubles matches. Fourth-ranked Robert Kendrick needed three sets to outlast David Froschauer at No. 1, 2-6, 7-6 (7-1), 6-4, in a marathon match, as did UW's Nicholas Quatrochi to stop Tomislav Sokolic, 4-6, 6-4, 6-2, at No. 6. But the Huskies' Nos. 2-5 players lost just eight games between them. In doubles, the Huskies took two of the three matches, earning the doubles point. All three matches ended with an 8-5 count, with Washington winning Nos. 1 and 3.
