Jan. 24, 1998 SEATTLE- Washington's 40th-ranked men's tennis team recorded their second shut out of the season with a 7-0 victory over the Gonzaga Bulldogs Saturday afternoon. It was the first-ever meeting between the two schools. The Huskies (2-0) did not drop a set in singles play for the second consecutive day. No. 1 singles player Robert Kendrick improved to 14-2 with a 6-0, 6-4 victory over the Bulldogs' Ken Bang. Sasha Rampazzo blanked Gonzaga's Ray Rigamonti, 6-0, 6-0, in No. 4 singles play while Eric Drew, Marius Lunde, Jeremy Berman and Mark Woolley won their respective matches. The 19th-ranked No. 1 doubles duo of Drew-Kendrick defeated Burak Berksoy-Bang, 8-3, to raise their record to 8-1 on the season. Washington 7, Gonzaga 0
