2011-12 (Freshman): Made a huge contribution to the doubles lineup in his first season, going 12-14 overall in doubles and 9-13 in dual doubles matches ... also was 4-3 on the year in singles matches with one singles start ... six of seven singles matches came in the fall, including a runner-up finish in the second flight of the PNW Intercollegiates at Oregon ... five of his seven singles matches on the year went three sets, including three that went to a tiebreak after a full third set, going 2-1 in those matches ... one dual singles match came at No. 8 Pepperdine, and he nearly posted a major win, falling 6-4, 4-6, 7-6 (2) to David Sofaer at No. 6 singles ... played all but one doubles match with Max Manthou, as the two went 9-12 in dual play: 6-8 at No. 2 doubles and 3-4 at No. 3 doubles ... the pair won their first four dual matches and six of their first eight, with big wins against Louisville, Michigan, and UCSB all at No. 2 doubles ... got a Pac-12 doubles win on Apr. 13 over Utah and another two days later over Arizona ... started both NCAA tourney matches at No. 3 doubles, not finishing vs. NC State and falling to Sofaer/Clarke of Pepperdine, 8-4 ... with Manthou, won the PNW Intercollegiate Yellow doubles flight, defeating Oregon teams in the semis and final.
