Men's Soccer

Sept. 1, 2004

Husky fans around the world- Lady Fortune has spun her fickle wheel and you have all ended up momentarily at the top; the 2004 Husky Soccer Diary is now open for your indulgence! Over the next four months you'll be getting a juicy, behind the scenes, dare I say inside the lockerroom look‚ at your favorite men's soccer team? I think I will. This journal will be a window into the lives and season of the players. Quite possibly, the close reader may even find a few rhetorical rooms to romp in.

But enough of the diary's introduction, lets move on to introduce the team that is causing such a buzz around Montlake. With a mix this year of solid veterans and brash rookies we have a surfeit of skill throughout our squad. Chris Eylander, Mike Chabala, and Casey Armstrong are the captains of this group of athletic warriors. Our general- the master tactician Dean Wurzberger himself. It's going to be something special folks. This weekend we kick off to a two and a half week voyage of pillaging and plundering that will begin in Spokane and finish in Portland. Along the way your Huskies will be tearing through Connecticut, New York, and Vegas. Come back later to read about our results.

The quote to live by for this trip: "It doesn't have to be pretty, lets just get some results" - Seth Spidahl.

Go Huskies!
