Finch & Richards Receive National Post-Season Honors

SEATTLE - Post-season honors continue to pour in for seniors Jamie Finch (Bothell, Wash.) and Brent Richards (Camas, Wash.) Finch and Richards were named to the 2011 National Soccer Coaches Association of America (NSCAA) University Division Scholar First-Team All-West Region. The duo was two of five total first team honorees and the lone Pac-12 representatives on the first team. They were two of eight Pac-12 representatives between the first and second teams. Both Finch and Richards are receiving this honor for the second season in a row. For the 2011 season, Finch was also named First Team All-Pac-12, Second-Team All-West Region, ESPN Academic All-District VII, and was a four-time First-Team Pac-12 All-Academic honoree. Richards also was a repeat selection to the 2011 NSCAA Men's Collegiate Scholar All-America Team. The 2011 Pac-12 Men's Soccer Scholar-Athlete of the year earned first team honors for the second straight year. He was also named a Capital One Academic All-American earlier this month. Richards carries a 3.75 GPA in Business. In each season with the Huskies, Richards led the team in goals, assists, shots, game-winning goals, and points.
