SEATTLE - Former Husky standouts and current MLS stars Craig Waibel, Ely Allen and Mike Chabala will serve as guest coaches and headline the instructors at the 2008 Winter Husky Soccer Camp to be held Dec. 26-28 at Washington's Dempsey Indoor Facility on the UW campus.

Waibel and Chabala, teammates on the Houston Dynamo, and Allen, a starting midfielder with the L.A. Galaxy, will join current Husky coaches and players in providing camp instruction. The camp is available for boys and girls, ages 8-18.

The 2008 Winter Husky Soccer Camp will be held primarily at Washington's Dempsey Indoor Facility, one of the nation's premier collegiate indoor training facilities that serves the Husky soccer, football, softball, baseball and track and field programs. The camp will also utilize Husky Football Stadium's East Practice Field during afternoon sessions.

Camp registration is available online by clicking here or by filling out the registration form posted as a PDF at the top of the page. The deadline for advanced registration is Dec. 19. Camp fees are $115 for kids 8-11 years of age and $125 for youth ages 12-18. Registration at the door is $125 and $135, respectively.

The camp includes morning instruction for children 8-11 years old from 9:30-11:30 a.m. each day. Instruction to kids ages 12-18 will be held from 1:30-4 p.m., Dec. 26-27, and from 9:30-11:30 a.m. on Dec. 28.
