Four Huskies Earn Pac-12 Academic Honors

WALNUT CREEK, Calif. - Seniors Ben Fisk and Dylan Tucker-Gangnes, junior Spencer Richey and sophomore Charlie Ranahan earned All-Pac-12 Academic honors on Wednesday from the Pac-12 office. Fisk (Federal Way, Wash.) earned academic honors for the first time as a Husky. With a 3.54 GPA in communication, he was named to the academic first-team. Athletically, he was also recently named to the All-Pac-12 First-Team. Ranahan (Oakland, Calif.) earned second-team honors with a 3.49 GPA in pre-arts and sciences. It was the first year he was eligible to make the academic team. He has been a key player for the Huskies mostly off the bench this season. Tucker-Gangnes (Bainbridge Island, Wash.) and Richey (Seattle, Wash.) earned honorable mention for the second-straight year. Tucker-Gangnes also earned HM in 2010. Each player was also named to the Pac-12 First-Team earlier in the week with Fisk. |
