SEATTLE - Seven members of the Washington men's soccer team earned academic all-Mountain Pacific Sports Federation honors, more than all but one other school in the conference. Sophomore Bryn Ritchie and senior Wes Hart headed the UW selections. Ritchie turned in a 3.72 GPA in international studies, while Hart had a 3.45 GPA in business. Others on the squad were junior Mike Casale (3.31 in sociology), junior Kris Hollingshead (3.05 in business), sophomore Jake Sagare (3.04 as a pre-major) and sophomore Benjamin Somoza (3.04 as a pre-major).

The Huskies finished 15-5-2 last year and as the MPSF champions with a 7-0 league mark. Washington earned a berth in the NCAA tournament for the fifth consecutive year, advancing to the second round before bowing out to two-time NCAA champion Indiana.

Go Huskies!
