SEATTLE - In his second spring season with the UW men's soccer team, head coach Jamie Clark announced a tough 2012 schedule that includes four home games for Husky Nation to see the new team.

"We are excited to get playing again," Clark said. "Our season came to an unexpected end this past fall, and our guys have been anxious to get back on the field. We have put together a spring schedule with a whole range of games. This will let us see our whole roster and get the team headed in the right direction for next year."

UW opens the spring season by taking on arch-rival Portland on March 10 at 3:30 at Husky Soccer Field. UW will remain home March 31 for the annual Alumni Game in the Dempsey Indoor Facility a 2 p.m.

The Huskies will head north to Vancouver, B.C., Canada for two games, one April 6 at 7 p.m. vs. Simon Fraser, and the second vs. the Whitecaps PDL at 4 p.m. on April 13.

The men's team will once again pair up with the UW women's team and play a doubleheader at Seattle U at 4 p.m. on April 21.

Seattle Pacific (April 28, 7 p.m.) and the Sounders PDL (May 4, 7 p.m.) will both visit Husky Soccer Field to round out the spring competition.

Just a reminder that spring games/stats do not count towards the team or an individual's career stats or records.
