SEATTLE –The UW men’s soccer team announced its first camp date of the spring. The Huskies will host the High School Spring Academy, March 17-18. This camp is open to students in grades 9-12 and is $150. It will be held at the Dempsey Indoor Facility. The High School Spring Camp is for serious soccer players who want to play at the collegiate level. The camp will consist of three sessions over a two day span. A morning session that will mirror a practice for the UW team and a night and morning session of competitive games. The UW men’s soccer staff will direct the camp and other college coaches from around the Seattle area will be in attendance. Players for the UW soccer team will also help direct the camp. Specialized goalkeeper training will be offered. To ensure proper attention and focus on every camper, registration will be limited to 60.
