Fisk Drafted By New York Red Bulls
Jan. 22, 2013 SEATTLE – Husky senior midfielder and co-captain Ben Fisk (Federal Way, Wash.) became the second Husky drafted in 2013 and he was selected 32nd in the second round by the New York Red Bulls in the 2013 MLS Supplemental Draft on Jan. 22. Fisk was invited to the 2013 MLS Combine after leading the Huskies to their first NCAA Tournament game and win since 2007. He was named to the All-Far-West Region and Pac-12 teams. He was third on the team with three goals, three assists and nine total points. Fisk ranked in the top 10 in the Pac-12 in total points, goals, points per game and goals per game. Fellow senior co-captain Dylan Tucker-Gangnes (Bainbridge Island, Wash.) was taken in the 2013 MLS Super Draft on Jan. 17 by the Portland Timbers with 34th pick in the second round.
