SEATTLE -- We all know them or we have played with them on the golf course at one time or another. Perhaps each of us even has a tinge of the monster inside of us. What I'm referring to is the golfer-with-anger-management-issues. Two such golfers that harbor the monster (they usually do a great job of hiding it) are UW coach Matt Thurmond and former Husky and 2005 NCAA Champion James Lepp. In preparation for the Sept. 20-21 Kikkor Golf Husky Invitational, Thurmond and Lepp got together on the golf course to make several preview videos of the tournament. Once they got on the course it all went downhill as the inner monster took over, leaving viewers with an instruction video on how to properly throw your clubs. Lepp, who is the founder and president of the title sponsor Kikkor Golf, demonstrates his "awesome" throwing abilities in the latest video installment. Please enjoy the videos from afar, but don't practice this on the course (at least in the daylight hours!). Make sure you join the Huskies and the rest of the exciting field at Washington National in Auburn from Sept. 20-21. Admission is free.
