VERONA, N.Y. -- Alex Prugh tied for 33rd at the Turning Stone Resort Championship after shooting a 2-under 70 in Sunday's final round. The Spokane, Wash. native and UW All-American was -10 overall (72-68-68-70-278) at Atunyote Golf Course.

Bill Lunde finished at 17-under to win the tournament by one stroke over J.J. Henry.

After missing four-straight PGA Tour cuts, Prugh was finally able to string together a consistent weekend. His 2-under on Sunday started and finished equally well with birdies on No. 1 and No. 18. In between he had two bogeys and two birdies.

For his efforts, Prugh took home $20,250. This year, Prugh has earned $798,901 and is on pace to earn his PGA Tour card for a second-consecutive season.

The Turning Stone Resort Championship was one of two PGA Tour events this weekend. Half the competitors competed at the Vernona N.Y. event while many of the top players competed at the World Golf Championships in Akron, Ohio.
