51st Northeast Amateur Invitational live scoring

RUMFORD, R.I. -- Cheng-Tsung Pan is tied for 31st after 54 holes of action at the 51st Northeast Amateur Invitational. The Husky second-team All-American will enter Saturday's final round at Wannamoisett Country Club 10 shots off the lead, but in position to break into the top-10.

After first and second rounds of shooting even-par 69, Pan fired a 3-over 72 on Friday. Teeing off from No. 1, Pan bogeyed No. 2 and No. 9 on the front to make the turn +2 for the day. A birdie on No. 14 brought him back to 1-over for the day, but bogeys on Nos. 15 and 16 left him 3-over for the round.

Jordan Russell has led start-to-finish so far and is -7 for the tournament. He holds a two-stroke advantage over Michael Hebert and Tim Jackson. Only 12 golfers are under par for the tournament.

Pan will tee off for the final round starting at 9:06 a.m. ET.

Go Huskies!
