Washington Notes
• In two short years has established himself as one of the best golfers in Husky history.
• Ranked 20th by Golfweek.com, 20th by Scratch Players Golf, 27th by Golfstat.com and 36th by WAGR in June of 2011.
• Represented USA at the 2011 Walker Cup where he went 1-1 in foursome action while teamed with UCLA's Patrick Cantlay and 1-0 in singles matches.
• Qualified for the 2011 U.S. Open at Congressional after winning his sectional at Gold Mountain. Missed the cut by two strokes.
• Won two of three events that make up the 2011 Western Swing. Won the Sahalee Amateur Players Championship by one stroke after firing 1-under 287 and won the Pacific Coast Amateur with 11-under 277.
• Was the second Husky ever to represent Washington in the Palmer Cup (Brock Mackenzie is the other) where he went 2-0-2 in four matches.
• Is the first Husky to ever win Pac-10 Freshman of the Year (2010).
• Recipient of 2010 Phil Mickelson Award, honoring the nation's top freshman collegiate golfer.
• Three career wins, one short of equaling the all-time best career total by a Husky.
• Has 13 top-10 finishes, which equals the fourth most in UW history.
• Owns two of the top-5 single-season stroke averages in team history.

Junior Golf and Personal:
• Four-time Idaho High School 4A state champion and four-time North Idaho Golfer of the Year.
• Earned as high as ninth in Junior Golf Scoreboard rankings.
• 2007 Washington Junior Golf Association (WJGA) State Champion, Player of the Year and Junior Golfer of the Year.
• Third at 2008 Junior Worlds, 27th at 2007 Junior World and 27th at 2007 Junior America's Cup.
• 2008 San Diego Junior Am Champion.
• Graduated from Moscow High School and helped team to 2009 state championship. Team was second in 2008 and fourth in 2007.
• Claims the record at eight courses.
• 4.0 GPA Honor Roll for 2008-09 school year.
• Parents are Linda and Varnel Williams. Has two older brothers, Pete and Jeff, and an older sister, Julie.
• Pete was a professional golfer from 2006-2008 and Jeff played hockey for University of Idaho.

• Only freshman in UW history to win twice during the season
• Best round of 8-under 63 in the Pac-10 Championships equals the best-ever third-round score in a tournament by a Husky
