Junior Golf and Personal
• Helped Thomas Haney to 2009 and 2007 AAA B.C. High School Provincial Championships and a fourth-place finish in 2008 and fifth-place finish in 2006.
• Was fifth in 2009 and second in 2008 as an individual at B.C. Provincial Championships.
• Second individually at 2009 Hogan Cup, which the B.C. Team won.
• Finished 17th at 2009 Candian Junior Championship.
• Member of BC's winning 2009 Junior America's Cup team.
• Placed 10th in the stroke play portion at the 2009 U.S. Junior Amateur Championships before losing in the round of 64 in match play.

• 2008 accomplishments: won the AJGA in Wenatchee, fourth at B.C. Junior, 12th at B.C. Amateur, 17th at Candian Junior Championship.
• Made Principal's List at Thomas Haney Secondary School.
• Father, Kevin Hughes, is a salesman and mother, Dawne Hughes, is a microbiologist. Has an older brother, Phil.
• Also played basketball and volleyball in high school.
• 2011 Second Team All-Pac-10
• Ranked 59th among collegiate golfers by Golfweek.com and 96th by Golfstat.com in May.
• Earned first career win at the Bandon Dunes Invitational, beating second-place finisher and teammate Chris Williams by six strokes.
• Second on team with 72.18 stroke average, which is the 10th best during a season in UW history.
• Five top-10 finishes during the season.
• Has finished first or second among Huskies in nine of 13 events.
