Chris Williams is sixth and the Huskies are sixth as a team after two rounds of action on Saturday at Pasatiempo Golf Course for the 67th Annual Western Intercollegiate.
Jonathan Sanders and the Huskies will be among seven Pac-12 teams playing in the 67th Western Intercollegiate, Saturday and Sunday at Pasatiempo Golf Club in Santa Cruz, Calif.
Chris Williams has to settle for fourth among individuals after entering the final round tied for the lead and the Huskies ended up third among the impressive 12-team field in the Aggie Invitational.

Led UW with a 72 in the first round of the NCAA Championships. Eventually ended up +8 and tied for 54th.
Dropped a 3&2 decision to Texas' Toni Hakula in match play.
Season-best 68 in the 2nd round at NCAA Regionals put him 7th on leaderboard. Eventually finished 18th.
Finished a season-high 10th at the Bandon Dunes Invitational, site of his lone career victory back in 2011, beating second-place finisher and teammate Chris Williams by six strokes.
2010-2011 (Sophomore)
2011 Second Team All-Pac-10, First Team Pac-10 All-Academic.
Ranked 59th among collegiate golfers by Golfweek.com and 96th by Golfstat.com in May.
Earned first career win at the Bandon Dunes Invitational, beating second-place finisher and teammate Chris Williams by six strokes.
Second on team with 72.18 stroke average, which is the 10th best during a season in UW history.
Five top-10 finishes during the season.
Has finished first or second among Huskies in nine of 13 events.
Career-best round of 66 in the second round of the Prestige at PGA West. Led after 36 holes, but ended up 4th.
2009-2010 (Freshman)
Played in eight events.
Tied teammate Nick Taylor for 19th at the NCAA West Regionals.
Placed 18th at the Pac-10 Championships with a 4-under 280.
Shot a career-best 67 in the fourth round at Pac-10s.
Stroke average of 75.00 ranked fifth on the team.
Shot a career-low 54-hole total of 216 at the Battle of the Beach.
Finished 10th out of 120 competitors at the Waikoloa Invitational for his career-best finish.

Junior Golf and Personal
Helped Thomas Haney to 2009 and 2007 AAA B.C. High School Provincial Championships and a fourth-place finish in 2008 and fifth-place finish in 2006.
Was fifth in 2009 and second in 2008 as an individual at B.C. Provincial Championships.
Second individually at 2009 Hogan Cup, which the B.C. Team won.
Finished 17th at 2009 Candian Junior Championship.
Member of BC's winning 2009 Junior America's Cup team.
Placed 10th in the stroke play portion at the 2009 U.S. Junior Amateur Championships before losing in the round of 64 in match play.
Represented British Columbia at 2009 Junior America's Cup team event and finished fourth individually.
2008 accomplishments: won the AJGA in Wenatchee, fourth at B.C. Junior, 12th at B.C. Amateur, 17th at Candian Junior Championship.

Father, Kevin Hughes, is a salesman and mother, Dawne Hughes, is a microbiologist. Has an older brother, Phil.
