Go Huskies
Pick Paul's Pic

Husky fans, you've picked up programs at Husky football games for years. Now it's YOUR chance to decide what you want to see this year at Husky Stadium.

Over the years, senior wide receiver Paul Arnold has shown up on photo day with some pretty interesting hairstyles. In the past, the media relations staff decided which ones went into the programs, but this year the choice is YOURS!

Take a look at Paul's favorite photos from years past, and read Paul's comments for insight into the origins of each look and what it represents to him. When you're done, cast your vote as to which photo you want to see in the 2002 Husky Football Game Programs.

Voting will run Monday, Aug. 19 through Friday, Aug. 30. To find out which photo YOU chose, pick up a free program at Husky Stadium before watching the Huskies take on San Jose State in the season-opener on Sept. 7.

Let the voting begin!

Braids - 2002 Afro - 2000 Afro Puff - 2002

"These are my braids. I put these in when I'm just chilling. It's a more laid-back look. This is the only one that isn't done by me. All of them are my personal styles, but this one I had to have someone do for me, though it was my vision." The afro is in between the braids and the afro puffs ‹ I'm still chilling, but I'm feeling like showing a little style. It's supposed to make you go, 'Whoa!' I use that one when I'm feeling a little rough, and I want people to take notice." "Now, the afro puffs go in when I'm ready to put in some work and get down to business. I call it getting 'rough and stuff with my afro puffs.' I put the afro puffs in, tie them back, put my work boots on and go handle some business. I like the afro puffs best because they show my variety."
