Among the many long-standing traditions surrounding the UW football program is Picture Day. And rarely has there been a day as nice as Sunday for this annual event. Fans in the thousands came to Husky Stadium Sunday to meet all of the members of the UW football team, as well as players from the Husky soccer and volleyball squads. KJR Radio was on hand, broadcasting with midday host Dave "Softy" Mahler and fans were treated to a variety of food and beverages. There was no practice on Sunday, but the team will get back at it with the first of two practices Monday at 8:45 a.m. Later Monday, the Dawgs will return to the field at 6:45 p.m. Check out the link at the top of the page for photos from Picture Day, as well as the link for the fall camp practice schedule. |
