Three Huskies earned spots on the watch list for national college football honors today. Senior linebacker Mason Foster was listed by the Bednarik Award, junior wideout Jermaine Kearse made the Biletnikoff Award's listing and senior quarterback Jake Locker earned a spot on the Maxwell Award watch list.

The Maxwell Football Foundation sponsors both the Maxwell and Bednarik Awards, which go to the nation's outstanding player and outstanding defensive player, respectively.

Locker, who threw for 2,800 yards and 21 TDs last year, has already been named to the watch list for the O'Brien, Unitas and Walter Camp Awards.

Foster, who has started every game of the last two seasons at linebacker, has 215 career tackles to his name. He led the conference in tackles in 2008 and is the team's top returning tackler this season, having made 85 stops last year.

The Biletnikoff Award goes to the nation's top wide receiver. Kearse totaled 50 receptions for 866 yards, seventh-most in UW history, last season.

Go Huskies!
