Aug. 1, 2011 • Current Football Roster SEATTLE - The Washington football team begins its formal preparation for the 2011 season when the Dawgs take the field for the first practice of the fall Monday afternoon at 3:15 p.m. Third-year head coach Steve Sarkisianwill meet with the media Monday at noon. You can watch live video of the press conference (see link at top of this page), watch live on UWTV (channel 27 on Seattle-area cable), or listen live on KJR 950-AM. UWTV will also air a replay Monday evening at 6:30 p.m. As noted the first practice is later Monday, and the Dawgs will work out each day except for Sundays through the end of the camp session on Thu., Aug. 25. Fans are welcome to attend afternoon and evening practices during fall camp (see full schedule below). Morning practices during two-a-days are closed. Additionally, upon the conclusion of the fall camp period, the practice policies will revert to the regular, in-season policies, meaning practices Monday through Thursday are open to the media, former UW players, family of players and members of the Tyee Club. For both fall camp and in-season practices, fans must enter via the northeast corner of Husky Stadium, near Husky Softball Stadium, at field level. Fans are asked to remain off of the field and out of the bench areas. When observing practice on the east practice field, fans must remain on the west side of the field. Additionally, the use of cell phones and cameras (video or still) is prohibited at practice, and fans are asked not to post details from practices on the internet. Among the other activities planned for the fall are the annual Husky Picture Day (Sun., Aug. 21 at 11:30 a.m.) and the Raise the Woof kickoff celebration (Fri., Aug. 26 at 6:00 p.m.).
