Locker Puts In A Busy Day At ESPN
July 27, 2010
Husky quarterback Jake Locker spent another busy day at ESPN headquarters in Bristol, Conn., Tuesday before hitting the road for dinner in New York City. As he did in his visit to the East Coast in June, Locker had a full itinerary at ESPN. This time, however, he was joined by three other Pac-10 quarterbacks: USC's Matt Barkley, Arizona's Nick Foles and Stanford's Andrew Luck. The four QBs toured the facilities, participating in a number of interviews and appearing on various programs. The foursome even participated in a couple of friendly mini-competitions while on College Football Live and SportsCenter. Locker returns to Seattle tomorrow, but Coach Steve Sarkisian and senior linebacker Mason Foster will be headed to Pasadena for Pac-10 Media Day at the Rose Bowl. Make sure to check back here at gohuskies.com for more from that trip. Here's a rundown of some links to audio and video from the day (there were other interviews that were taped for later airing, so there could still be more to come): Video: SportsCenter with former NFL head coach Herm Edwards Video: SportsCenter with Chris McKendry Video: ESPN First Take with Reischea Candidate Audio: Mike & Mike Radio Show Audio: Scott Van Pelt Radio Show |
