Locker Headed Back To East Coast Again
July 26, 2010
About a month after making his first-ever trip to ESPN headquarters in Bristol, Conn., and to New York City, Husky quarterback Jake Locker is making another visit this week. Locker will trek east for another opportunity to present the Husky football message to the national and East Coast media. Also on a similar schedule are quarterbacks from three other Pac-10 schools: USC's Matt Barkley, Arizona's Nick Foles and Stanford's Andrew Luck. Locker will spend Tuesday at the ESPN campus, doing a number of appearances and interviews, and then head to New York for dinner with members of the press before returning to Seattle on Wednesday. Though Locker's trip isn't a part of Pac-10 Media Day, it does happen to coincide with the conference bringing the Pac-10 coaches to New York and to ESPN. All 10 coaches will spend time with New York media Tuesday and Wednesday and then travel to Bristol and ESPN headquarters Wednesday afternoon before they all fly back to Pasadena for the media day at the Rose Bowl on Thursday. Here's a look at some of the Locker's itinerary for tomorrow (Tue., July 27) at ESPN (all times are Pacific; please note that many of these are tapings for later airing): 5:40 a.m. - Mike & Mike 6:00 a.m. - SportsCenter.com 6:30 a.m. - Digital Media 6:50 a.m. - ESPNRise Workout Video 7:10 a.m. - Podcast 7:30 a.m. - First Take 7:50 a.m. - ESPNU 8:20 a.m. - ESPNews 11 a.m.-2 p.m. taping 8:40 a.m. - ESPN.com on-camera interview with Ivan Maisel 9:40 a.m. - SportsCenter 10:00 a.m. - College Football Live |
